August 17, 2004 To: Rob Coombs, Fitness Together Dear Rob, Thank you for helping me evaluate my exercise activities. After you showed me how to workout correctly and more efficiently I feel that I've made more progress in the past 2 months than I ever had previously. Most important, since starting with Fitness Together approximately eight weeks ago I have lost a total of 16 pounds. Your advice on exercise and diet has enabled me to progress towards my goal at a consistent and healthy rate. I'm experiencing all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle thanks to you and your program. It's great to have the advice of a professional and I wish I had signed up sooner! It would have saved me a lot of money in gym memberships. Sincerely, Tony Scuto Rob, As you know, I am very busy building Network Referral Group (NRG) and it would be very easy to skip bettering my health. But, I made a decision to commit to working out with you so I can improve my health. In just under two months, I have dropped several pounds, lowered my blood pressure significantly and feel much stronger and energetic with the workouts. I am type 2 diabetic and even my doctor was impressed with the way you and I are working together. The in depth color charts measuring body fat and so much more are very important to my doctor as well as the three of us work to reduce and eliminate some of the medications that I am taking. One of the many objections most people have when they are considering starting a workout program with a trainer is that they are too busy. Hogwash! I am very busy with NRG as we are experiencing super natural growth helping companies develop business through the art of the leveraged referrals. Because of my increased energy, NRG just in the last two months has had record weeks! Sometimes, in life you need to sit back and take a look at the person in the mirror and say if I don't change anything, what will happen to me? We hear it all the time about people getting sick or worse, yet we always think it is the other person. When do we wake up and take personal responsibility for our health? When do we commit to getting in shape? If you are reading this and are too busy to workout, this is the absolute time you need to make the commitment. I owe Rob a big THANK YOU! All the money in the world doesn't matter if you have lost your health! I am very excited as I prepare to lose more weight, get stronger and take better control of my health. Rob is the trainer for me and many others who are ready to make a change in their eating habits, exercise and overall health issues. Michael Weiner Being a single mom with two young boys and running a business, I don't have a lot of time to get to the gym. I was really ready to get myself back into shape and start feeling better when I learned about Rob Coombs and Fitness Together from a friend. One of my 2004 New Year's Resolutions was to start working out again, which I hadn't had time for since my children were born, but I was struggling with juggling all my responsibilities. I joined the YMCA but I just wasn't getting there on a consistent basis. The one trainer concept of Fitness Together intrigued me. After meeting Rob and seeing the facility I was ready to give it a shot .I was tired of feeling tired and out of shape. Wow!! What a great experience working out with Rob has been!! When I first started, Rob worked with me to set goals for a big trip I was taking 6 weeks out. He devised a diet and work out schedule that met the time constraints of my schedule and my desire to get fit again .and we saw the results I was looking for in that short period of time!! I lost a couple of pounds but more importantly 2% body fat. I had more energy, I felt 100% better .and I liked what I saw in the mirror!! I look forward to my workouts each week. Rob makes it fun and easy by showing me what to do next, how many more repetitions I have .and mixing it up with some fun interval and cardio training. I have recently signed up for another training package ..and while in the beginning I was hesitant to spend money on myself to get back into shape and feeling great .it has proven to be an excellent investment of both my time and money!! I know there will be many more Fitness Together workouts in my future .and I'm looking forward to each one!!
DATE: February 16, 2004 REGARDING: My Personal Training Experience with Rob Coombs Rob has worked with me as a personal trainer for approximately 2 years. During this time, we were working out either two or three times per week, both during the week and on Saturdays. I have truly enjoyed and benefited from Rob’s expertise in fitness training and encouragement to meet my personal fitness goals. While working with Rob, I particularly enjoyed the strength training parts of our workouts. Rob does a very good job of mixing up the exercises so that they never became routine. I was able to dramatically increase my upper body strength, my core stability, and tone my lower legs. We used a variety of methods including a weight machine, free weights, and the fitness ball. Rob gradually increased the intensity of the exercises to ensure that I always got a good, strenuous workout. Rob also encouraged my progress with aerobic exercises. While this was definitely not my favorite part of the workout, I could see and appreciate my development in this area. Consistent with my fitness goals, I was also attempting to modify my diet and eating habits to lose weight. Rob definitely assisted me in this area, from helping me to choose diet plans to sharing his healthy eating habits and always encouraging me in a friendly and supportive manner. Finally, I wanted to mention that Rob was always at my door, on time, rain or shine, for my workouts. He was unfailingly friendly, supportive, and upbeat about working out. I hope to continue my workouts with Rob at his new personal training facility. Rob and I have remained good friends since we stopped working out together, and his desire to see me reach my fitness goals has never been stronger. I do not think I would have been successful without our workouts and your motivation. I’ve given half-hearted attempts in the past, but working with you makes the difference and as you know, I LOST 20 POUNDS IN 8 WEEKS. I am now working out consistently three to four times a week. Yahoo!! I would recommend your personal training to anyone who is interested in getting more fit and/or losing weight and has had difficulty with consistency and motivation.
